1. License and Permit Processing

Processing the issuance of all types of licenses and various permits for new applications and renewals within 7 to 30 working days from the date the application and complete documents are received.

2. Technical Advisory Services

Providing information and technical advice related to sustainable forest management, the forestry industry, forest license and permit applications, and forestry research within 14 working days from the date the application is received.

3. Certificate Issuance

To process and issue all certificates related to forestry operations, the forestry industry, and other services within 7 to 30 working days from the date the application and complete documents are received.

4. Public Complaint Management

Take action on public complaints regarding forest offences and services, with feedback provided within 7 working days from the date the complaint is received.

5. Course Offer Letters

Issuing offer letters for attending courses at the Sabah Forestry Institute within 14 working days after the interview date.

6. Recruitment and Retirement Applications

Providing feedback on job applications and retirement matters within 3 working days after the application letter is received.

7. Sample Identification and Analysis Services

Processing service applications for identification and/or analysis of samples, with results delivered to customers within 7 to 45 working days, subject to standards and the number of samples.

8. Training Applications

Processing training applications organized by the Department within 7 working days from the date the application and complete documents are received.

9. Quotation/Tender Offer Letters

Issuing quotation/tender offer letters to the relevant licensees/contractors within 1 to 3 working days after the decision is received.

10. Payment Processing

Processing all types of payments within 14 working days from the date the application is received, in accordance with Treasury Instruction 103.

7. Course Enrollment Outcome 

To process service requests for identification and/or analysis of samples and deliver the results to the client within 7 to 45 working days, subject to standards and the number of samples.

8.Approval for Training Application

To process applications for training organised by the Department within 7 working days from the date the application and complete documents are received

9. Two-Week Approval for License Extensions

To issue quotation/tender offer letters to relevant licensees or contractors within 1 to 3 working days after the decision is received.

10. Two-Week Approval for License Extensions

To process all types of payments within 14 working days from the date the application is received, in accordance with Treasury Instructions 103.
