Light reddish brown. Sapwood lighter in colour but not not sharply defined, 2" to 3" wide.
DURABILITY:
Non durable.
USES:
Recorded uses are confined to temporary construction, floaters for rafting "sinkers", fishing net floaters and dug out canoes.
