COLOUR (UNIFORMITY):
Heartwood light yellow or light yellow brown often with green tinge. Sapwood is normally not differentiated.
DURABILITY:
Not durable in exposed conditions or in contact with the ground.
USES:
For packing case manufacturer, plywood, tool handles, shunting poles and other uses where a fairly dense tough timber is required.
