Wayaan of Trus Madi

The peak of Mount Trusmadi is accessible from 3 wayaan namely Mannan, Mastan and Kaingaran. Each of the wayaan is different in the distance from the peak and climbing challenge.

Wayaan Mannan, Sinua (Sook)
The distance of wayaan Mannan from the peak of Mount Trusmadi is 11.6 kilometers and 4 days is recommended to allow one to acclimatize to the higher altitude and to fully enjoy the rich biological diversity - the exotic rare plants, orchids, birds and many more which can be found along the wayaan. Along the wayaan, climbers will passes thru few interesting key points and spot such as the bird trails (4000 meters), Pagandadan Munang (6200 meters), Waig Nakalabai (Waterfall, 1100 meters), Pagandadan K.S. Khiong (4200 meters), Taman Amin (Amin's Garden) and Taman Munang (Munang's Garden).

Wayaan Mastan, Apin-Apin (Keningau)
Wayaan Mastan distance from the peak of Mount Trusmadi is 4.3 kilometers and 2 days of climbing is recommended for this wayaan which allowing climbers to experience nature and challenging climbing experience to conquer the peak of the second highest mountain in Malaysia. Climbers for this wayaan will be able to passes thru few interesting key points and spot such as the Pagandadan Ranjers and Taman H.S. Martyn at 2400 meters before reaching the peak.

Wayaan Kaingaran (Tambunan)
This wayaan distance from the peak is 4.9 kilometers and requires estimatedly 3 to 4 days to reach the peak. Wayaan Kaingaran also provide the 2.4 kilometers of boardwalk to enable climbers to climb easily and to experience the rich flora and fauna that can be found along this wayaan. Climbers can also choose to climb via the bird trails to enjoy the amazing view of various species of birds available along the wayaan in Nuluhon Trusmadi. Along the wayaan, climbers will passes thru few interesting key points and spot such as the Pagandadan Kitingan and Sulap Gibon.
